Life Spaces Group was founded by three highly experienced building professionals, Elliot McLaren, Simon Babb and Grant Downie. With over 50 years experience collectively working in the premium building industry in the Surfcoast, Bellarine Peninsula and Geelong region, they are well suited to understand the many needs of both client and architectural collaborators engaged within the Life Spaces Group concept.

With extensive backgrounds covering commercial and high-end custom construction, operational and project management through to sales and marketing within their own businesses and some of Australia’s most established building groups, the founders were able to recognise where the industry was not meeting the market.

Having this understanding of the construction industry has enabled the founders to develop a business concept that combines building confidence and sustainability with creative integrity.

We’re a boutique home builder based in Barwon Heads, and we’re passionate about creating exclusive, contemporary homes designed by the country’s most exciting architects.

We founded Lifespaces Group to introduce Australians to a brand new concept in home design: offering premium, superbly designed residential architecture that is ready-to-build to the finest detail.

Lifespaces Group commissions leading architects to design a signature series of limited-edition, luxury homes. Each series is distinct and varied – a true reflection of the architect’s design ethos.  We then handcraft each home exactly as envisioned. To maintain exclusivity, only 10 homes of each design may ever be built.  Premium building techniques, modern finishes and quality fittings are integral to each project.
