Privacy policy

This policy explains how The Best Builders ("we"), operated by LeadHub Pty Ltd (ABN 16 621 973 760), handles personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you send a quote request or a message, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email, suburb or postcode, and details about your project. We also collect standard website analytics (pages viewed, device and approximate location) through Google Analytics, and our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

How we use it

We use your quote request to match your project with up to three builders and pass your details to them so they can contact you about a quote. We may be paid by builders for these introductions. We use messages to reply to you. We use analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it.

Who we share it with

We share quote requests only with the builders we match you with. We use service providers to run the site and deliver email (Cloudflare and Resend), and some of them may store data outside Australia. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, through our contact form. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a privacy matter, contact us first. If we can't resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
